Evolution Doula Course
This is our course for existing doulas, those who have taken a course elsewhere, who would like to become a Nurturing Birth doula. Places by application only. Access to a comprehensive online portal, two days with an experienced doula facilitator and a one-to-one mentoring session
What you can expect from the Evolution Doula Course:
- Application process to ensure that this course is the right fit for you
- Ten hours gathering online with an experienced doula/facilitator spread across two days
- Nurturing Birth manual - option to purchase a hard copy
- Reflective assignments in advance of the gathering - exploring your stories, beliefs and feelings around the perinatal period and business
- Modules from over 20 guest specialists to deepen your knowledge and practice, created specifically for the Nurturing Birth course
- Mentoring with a doula chosen from our experienced, international mentor team
- Nurturing Birth Evolution Course Certificate on completion of the course, assignments and mentoring to the satisfaction of the Course Facilitator
- Six months to complete all the online assignments
- Opportunity to continue with mentoring on completion of the course at the reduced rate of £65 per session for Nurturing Birth doulas
- Opportunity to join Doula UK and be part of the Nurturing Birth community on completion
All doulas completing a Nurturing Birth course will get:
- Nurturing Birth Doula logos to put on websites and other promotional materials
- A comprehensive manual full of evidence-based research and information to support you in starting your doula journey
- A year's free listing on the international Nurturing Birth Directory
